Welcome to fourth grade!
My name is Mrs. Errante and I am your child's Math teacher this year. It is going to be an exciting year for us as we travel this journey together.
I grew up as an Air Force kid and moved to North Hill when my dad left the service. Eventually, we moved to Stow and I graduated from Stow High School. I have two children, Annika and James. Annika is a freshman at Kent State University majoring in nursing. She plans to pursue her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in the mental health field. James is a sophomore in the Wadsworth City Schools. He is a member of the drumline, plays basketball and lacrosse, and enjoys riding horses.
I can't believe it, but this is my twenty fourth year teaching. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Kent State University with a Master's Degree in Gifted Education. My first teaching job was in Gastonia, North Carolina. I spent a year in the South teaching first grade. I loved it, but I missed home and my family. After moving back to Stow, I began teaching for Cuyahoga Falls. I taught third grade one year, second grade for many years, fifth grade Math for three years, and now I have the pleasure of sharing my love for Math with fourth grade! My goal this year is to get my students excited about math and help them develop a love for it.
Fourth grade is a big year with so many new and exciting things to learn.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
